Unfortunately, I wasn't very good at remembering to take pictures. Lame. I know.
But! I did manage to snap this picture of our friends Marisol and Luis

Halloween Countdown Day 6
Day 6: Glow Stick Tag
Collin had a blast! He laughed so hard he threw up! I laughed so hard because Michael was holding him when it happened, but we couldn't see anything so he kept saying, "Do you smell that!?" He thought he had stepped in dog poop and couldn't figure out how that could happen seeing as we don't even own a dog. Michael...was not laughing :)
Best countdown day so far!

Halloween Countdown Day 1
Day 1: Go Booing!
LOVED this idea when I saw it on thetomkatStudio.
We baked some cookies and secretly dropped them off to two neighbors along with the "We've Been Booed" sign and instructions. Within two days they are suppose to Boo two other families in the neighborhood.
If you want to download your own "We've Been Booed" sign and instructions click here.

THE most delicious cake!
Bet you wish you could have some huh?
Creator of these fabulous cakes, my mother-in-law, Anne. She is just amazing! She's an outstanding cook, baker, she sews and paints! I am so lucky to have her as a second mom!!!
Had to put this one as a black and white because my eyes were bloodshot! Too much partying, I mean...stupid contacts!!!

Halloween Countdown!!!
I Always feel like the holidays come and go too quickly for me to even celebrate them. So to keep that from happening this year, we are doing a Halloween Countdown!!! And what better way to countdown to Halloween than with this adorable muffin tin counter?
Yep, it's really just a muffin tin. It even has some of the left over batter from our cupcakes still caked on the side.
Each muffin tin holds a slip of paper with something fun and Halloween related on it. Each day leading up to Halloween, we'll get to remove a slip of paper and do it's activity.
The countdown begins NEXT WEEK!!!
The countdown begins NEXT WEEK!!!
As crafty as I may be I did NOT come up with this idea on my own. I stole the muffin tin countdown idea from The Dating Diva's website. Click here if you want to be taken to their "How Do I Love Thee" post.
And then I used the free Halloween printables from Tip Junkie to cover the muffin tin holes. Click here if you want to be taken straight to them.
I did come up with the ideas inside the muffin tin though so I should get some credit right?

What Is That!?
It's time to play...WHAT IS THAT!?
If you guessed a 3 week old dried up worm you are correct!!!
Now it's time to play...WHERE WAS THAT!?
Collin's mouth? Right again!!!
He ate not one, not two, but THREE worms!
Collin loves being outside. And when I say loves, I mean LOVES. He cries when we come inside and is constantly going to the door wanting to go out and play. So, I thought I could open our double doors up and let him play in the screened in porch for a while. I swept it off and everything!
I saw that he was chewing something so I went to him and had this conversation...
Mommy: Collin, say ahh.
Collin: ahh
Mommy: Gross Collin. Spit it out! (I held out my hand and he did spit it out)
Not even a min. later we were having this same conversation.
The third time he actually came up to me laughing and said "ahh" like it was some game. He came inside after that and got a tongue scrub and a bubble bath...in that order!

Waz Up?
Waz Up?...Collin's hair, that's what!
Have unmanageable cow-licks or unsightly bedhead? No problem!
Just spike it!
Just spike it!
The chicks will dig it!
What else has been UP lately?
Michael and Collin have been brushing UP on their piano skills,
We were spiritually UPlifted during General Conference this weekend.
We watched it at grandma and Grandpa Boyd's house. They opened the doors to the back porch since the weather was beautiful and Collin loved it! He played on the porch ALL day! So much easier than struggling to keep him still in a church pew :)
Collin went and climbed in his stroller and then just sat there until grandma came and gave him a push.
(Notice Gromit, Collin's favorite stuffed animal? He insists that Gromit go everywhere with him. Both the boy and the dog were in dire need of a bath that day :)
And finally, my little man is not so "little" anymore. He is growing- UP
He has finally graduated to the 9-12 month clothing! Hurray!
(only a few months behind right?) He's ready to work in your garden Grandma Peeler!
